Conflict of Interest Debate
You may have heard of ongoing discussions concerning a perceived conflict of interest which is said to exist within the Community Centered Board (CCB) system. The issue of concern is that statewide CCBs may have a conflict of interest when allocating scarce resources or slots to serve individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. State Fiscal Update
Fiscal challenges are affecting our entire country and invariably impact DDRC and the people we serve. This is very much a situation that changes on a monthly basis and so we have decided to create this new information item for our web site. Our goal will be to update it as new developments occur. On it we will list any significant changes to state/federal service rates, funding formulas or services for the DDRC service area of Jefferson, Gilpin, Clear Creek and Summit Counties. Read more...
SLS and CES Waivers Update
The Division for Developmental Disabilities has issued a directive on the Supported Living Services (SLS) and Children's Extensive Services (CES) waivers that includes the final statewide standardized service rates. Click here to go to the SLS/CES Update Center.
Family Caregiver & CDASS
Individuals and their families now have more choice about where their services are delivered and more control over who can deliver those services. On November 1, 2010, the Division for Developmental Disabilities (DDD) notified stakeholders that the long awaited Family Caregiver model was available to qualified applicants. Read more...
